What to Bring
In order to make your stay at Summerland Campground as enjoyable as possible, here are a few items that many people sometimes forget...
- Water Toys, cooler, beach blanket and chairs for the beach
- Extra extension cords for your RV or tenting to power accessories or reach power pedestals (just in case…).
- RV 30 amp adapters (for regular plug style outlets)
- RV water system pressure regulator for RV potable water hoses
- RV sewer hose (check for leaks and cracks, etc.) and make sure it is at least 10-feet long
- Sunscreen and First-Aid Kit
- Bicycle(s)
- Extra Tarps; even though it never rains in the South Okanagan…
- Propane
- Good walking/hiking shoes
- “Doggy Bags” to clean up after your pet
- Cash for purchasing ice, firewood and store items and specifically small change (quarters $0.25) for the laundry, showers, arcade & pay phone
- Volleyballs, Badminton Rackets and Birdies, Frisbees and Footballs
- Ground Carpet for outside the entrance to your RV or Tent
- Flashlight(s) for safety at night
- Extra cord, string or rope.
- 30 ft. Coaxial cable for hooking up to cable TV if staying in a full-service site.
- Battery charger (if you have one…) for RV and or tow vehicle.
- Electric or Propane Lanterns.
- Axe or hatchet for chopping firewood
