For your comfort, safety and security; and that of your fellow campers, every guest MUST observe the following terms & conditions while at the Summerland Campground. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your stay (without refund) and the involvement of the R.C.M.P.

Any wilful abuse, damage, destruction or misuse of ANY campground equipment or facilities will result in the cost of damages and repair (minimum $100) immediately being charged to the at fault guest’s credit card on file. Municipality of Summerland by-Law Enforcement is in Effect!

There are security cameras in the park; please be aware.

DO NOT put anything other than Non-Corrosive Liquids AND Bodily Waste down Toilets, RV Sewer Hoses & Outlets!

NO TAMPONS, SANITARY NAPKINS, FOOD WASTE, RUBBER GLOVES, COTTON TOWELS, CLOTHING, PLASTIC, METAL, GLASS, CARDBOARD, NEWSPAPER OR ANY OTHER ITEMS!

General Information & Campground RULES

  • Maximum campSite Occupancy is six (6) Persons (adults + children); NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Maximum Adult Occupancy per campSite is four (4) Adults (13+ years); NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Store open 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM may close for short periods throughout the day.
  • All store purchases are cash only.
  • use 2-way radio at office/store entrance to contact manager/staff.
  • check-in open 12:00 noon - 09:00 PM No Check-in / Arrivals after 09:00 pm.
  • Check-Out Time is 11:00 am. All Sites MUST be vacant by 11:00 am.
  • Check Notice Board Outside office/Store for Campground news and information.
  • Quite Time: 10:30 pm to 07:00 am. ALL Music must be turned off by 10:30 pm.
  • Main Gate Closes for vehicle entries at 11:00 pm and Re-Opens for entries at 07:00 am.
  • DO NOT GIVE Entrance Gate Code TO ANY non-registered guest under any Circumstances!
  • No smoking in all campground buildings.
  • ALL Vehicles MUST Drive DEAD SLOW Through Entrance Gate and in the Campground.
  • Cautiously manoeuvre vehicles in the campground; if you break it ~ you pay for it.
  • Only One (1) Vehicle Allowed per Site; Do NOT Park in Vacant Sites.
  • Overflow and Visitor parking is Outside the Campground.
  • Bicycles are not permitted on Grass, IN Playground or Pool patio Area.
  • DO NOT Climb Trees or Fences ~ do not drive Nails or Spikes into Trees or Fences.

campFIRES

  • All firewood must be purchased prior to 7:00 pm.
  • Small fires only; all fires mUST be fully extinguished No later than 11:00 pm!
  • DO NOT Move your site’s Fire Pit. Communal Fire Pit is Available for Everyone’s Use.

Showers / Bathrooms

  • For your safety Bathroom Doors MUST remain CLOSED at night; NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Hot Shower = $1.00 ~ one (1) loonie only ~ for 5 Minutes.
  • Change available at office until 07:00 pm only.
  • Do Not Over-Fill Toilets, Flush Sanitary Napkins or Tampons in toilets!
  • Dishwashing Stations are for Dishes only; Please do NOT Wash Clothes or feet in Sinks.
  • Coin Laundry Machines are Available; coins/Change and Soap at Store.
  • Children under the age of 8-years must be supervised by an adult in bathroom/shower.

Visitors

  • ALL Visitors MUST Park Vehicles outside the Campground and walk-in.
  • ALL Visitors MUST check-in at the office/Store. No Exceptions!
  • No visitor arrivals after 09:00 pm. ALL Visitors MUST Depart Campground by 10:30 pm.

Garbage & Recycling

  • It is the Guest’s Responsibility to keep their site Clean and Free of Garbage & Refuse.
  • DO NOt leave Garbage in campsites or when Vacating Sites. Should this occur, the At Fault Guest’s Credit Card on file will be Charged a $50 Clean-Up Fee.
  • Garbage/Refuse Dumpster is at Campground Entrance. Please Use it.
  • Cardboard Dumpster isat campground entrance; please use it.
  • Recycle Containers are Next to Garbage Bin; Please Use Them.

PETS

  • Maximum One (1) Pet per Site - $2.00 each, per night.
  • ALL Pets MUST be declared at Check-In; ALL Pets MUST be Kept Leashed at ALL Times.
  • Pets MUST NOT be left Unattended in RV’s or anywhere in the Campground for extended periods of time.
  • Pets MUST be walked Outside the Campground. You MUST Clean-Up After your Own Pet.
  • Pets are NOT Permitted on Grass, in Playground or Pool Patio Area.
  • Pets are NOT Permitted at theoffice/Store Area or in the Bathrooms.

POOL / PLAYGROUND

  • Seasonal Heated Outdoor Pool Open daily from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. (weather permitting)
  • No Lifeguard on Duty at Pool; Swim at Your Own Risk!
  • ALL Children LESS THAN 13 Years of age MUST be supervised by Adult While in the Pool!
  • No Food, Drink, Glass, Rocks or other Hazardous Materials Permitted Inside Pool Area!
  • No Shoes, Footwear, Hard Toys, swim Flippers Permitted in Pool Area!
  • Playground equipment is Only for Children 12 Years of Age or under!

The Summerland Campground & RV Park is NOT Responsible or Liable for Accidents, Personal Injury and Lost or Stolen Property. Please advise management/staff immediately of any Problem(s) in the Campground.
